GEORGE Bush's popularity has taken a tumble and now so has he.
The 57-year-old president is battered and bruised after falling from his mountain bike on his Texas ranch.
Bush suffered cuts and scratches to his chin, upper lip, nose and both knees. He carried on with his ride on Saturday after his doctor patched him up.
Spokesman Trent Duffy said: 'Suffice to say he wasn't whistling show tunes.'

Bush famously hurt his face when he fell off a sofa as he choked on a pretzel in 2002.

I liked the headline on this one but the AP story noted that Kerry took a spill on his bike a couple of weeks ago and managed to not turn into a bloody pulp.
